After the success of their 2010 debut LP ‘Force of Habit’, Prose are back with their brand new single ‘Real Talk’. Taken from their forthcoming full length LP ‘The Dark Side of The Boom’, ‘Real Talk’ is a boom bap banger of the highest calibre, and is sure to become one of the anthems of 2011.
Steady delivers a bouncy up-tempo groove whilst Efeks calls out everyone from armchair revolutionaries to X-Factor hopefuls. Released through the Boom Bap Professionals label, ‘Real Talk’ is exactly the type of head-nod material that is expected from a group who have supported artists such as the legendary DJ Premier, Royce Tha 5’9” and Jedi Mind Tricks, and fans of their previous offerings will not be disappointed with this one.

I was hoping 2 drop the album this year but a few jugglinz beyond my control made it impossible 2 do without a decent push.

This track here’s gonna be featured on the consultation alongside four others & is something I originally demo’d over a Harry Love beat but the final version was recorded over a rendition by a Latin/Funk band i was also blessed 2 work with named Son Veneno. The drama is set to be on your screens this 31st October exploring young lives lived on the edge as Dushane (Ashley Walters) gets the attention of ex-convict and drug dealer Bobby Raikes (Geoff Bell) and uses his sexy, clever and charming ways as an opportunity to become more than just a gang leader, but a top boy in the Summerhouse Estate. Dushane and Sully (Kane Robinson) embark on a violent quest to run the drugs game in their area with a storyline to tug at your heart strings when 13 year old Ra’Nell (Malcolm Kamulete) decides he desperately wants to be in the gang, struggling to create a stable environment for his mentally ill mother (Sharon Duncan Brewster) whilst his best friend Gem (Giacomo Mancini) will do anything to be accepted into the gang…
