Rax – 11′ Till Infinity
Introducing the latest face of original hip hop in the UK – 20 year old London based rapper Rax. This creative up and coming wordsmith is on the verge of establishing himself as one of Britain’s most prominent musical stars, with a 6-month plan titled The Black Crook Project kicking into action at Midnight on Sunday, 2nd October. Based around Charles M. Barras’ 1866 musical ‘The Black Crook’, the project will see Rax release 1 new video every 2 weeks for 6 months.
Rax honed his microphone skills from the age of 15, before signing with fast rising musical enterprise Clear Cut Entertainment / Audio Surveillance Records. The charismatic emcee then released his first solo long player titled ‘The Auditions’ in 2009. The mixtape went on to receive over 1000 downloads within the first few days of its release, with hard copies of the project proving equally as popular on the streets of London. Rax then released several viral videos (including his unforgettable ‘I Wanna Rock’ remix which clocked up over 30,000 views on YouTube), before putting plans in motion for his most ambitious project to date – #TBCP.
The first video from The Black Crook Project features Rax rhyming effortlessly over Souls Of Mischief’s ’93 Till Infinity instrumental – the perfect introduction to what you can expect to see from this undeniably gifted emcee over the coming months. Unlike most freestyles which borrow famous beats for their backdrop, Rax makes the track his own and undoubtedly presents his own take on this classic piece of Hip Hop history. The video sees Rax performing in a variety of locations including the AUSV studio and the streets of Shoreditch, with casual behind the scenes shots incorporated throughout.
• Rax has his own 5 piece live band which he performs with on a regular basis.
• Rax hosted Somerset House’s Summer Series 2010, which saw the likes of N-Dubz and Skepta perform on stage.
• Rax is also a talented video director & editor, and will be contributing his skills throughout the #TBCP project.
• Rax has worked on projects for many major TV companies including BBC and Channel 4.

SAS ft Chipmunk & Cire – Ready
The saying “Good things come in threes” seems to be literally applied to trailblazing SAS who has recently found themselves teaming up with chart heavy weight Chipmunk and Cire (Formally known as Eric B) to produce their new anthem ‘Ready’. The north London based stars created ‘Ready’ with producer SX who has previously worked with Wretch 32, Chipmunk and Skepta.
Supported by Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood, Radio 1 Xtra’s Ace and Vis and Kiss FM’s Manny Norte, SAS released their mixtape ‘Galaxy Fly’ last year early November which helped them reach a wider audience after featuring artists from all over the world including Chiddy Of Chiddy Bang, Cam’ron of Dip’set, MI, and Corte Ellis (a singer/songwriter whom has written songs for the likes of Britney Spears and Beyoncé.).
SAS have also been co-sign by Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Busta Rhymes and after being played on Hot 97 in the states it helped them to develop their affiliation with US artists, they soon went on to opening up shows for Kanye West and Juelz Santana.
With Chipmunk displaying his ‘transition’ after the release of his top ten softmore album and Cire who wrote Chris Brown’s contribution to Chipmunk’s number two single ‘Champion’ as well as writing for JLS, it was only right that they teamed up with the ‘never seen, occasionally mentioned and internationally known’ SAS.
SAS are ‘Ready’ to leave their stamp on the UK music scene.

Fdot1 – Eart’Quake (Da Refix)
Fdot1 has been locked in the lab since his appearance at The O2 this summer working on some hip hop bangers for 2012.. He has briefly emerged, squinting at the light, to share this tirade with y’all.
Fdot1 left his soft, soulful side at the studio door, stepped in the booth and got MAD!
Mad at the way the UK urban music scene treats real talent, he goes IN on Labrinth’s Earthquake beat. The video was a no budget production, filmed in a car park by his manager and edited by Fdot1 himself.
No make-up, no fancy animations, no designer wardrobe and no BULL, just raw flows more intricate than anything that’s getting major airplay in the UK right now.
This production was brought to you by the letters F and U.
I will not fall ‘cos I stand for suttin’
