J-Lie & Jim Jones “Get It on the Low” Video
Rapper J-Lie calls on Dip Set capo Jim Jones for an assist on “Get It on the Low”, a single from his forthcoming mixtape, Ears First, Hearts Next, due later this month. “I am here to get the attention of your ears first and then your heart next,” J-Lie says of the project. “‘Get It on the Low’ is the start of that mission. Everything I have been through prior to get to this point almost doesn’t count. Welcome to my world.” Raised in both L.A. and Atlanta, the South African-South Korean entertainer showcases both his rhyming and crooning talents in the visuals, which take place in various locations from rooftops to clubs. “The city tatted on my chest/ No Vinny but my entourage on Turtle’s neck/ Chokehold, on top, never sittin’ middle/ Two hands on that… no double dribble,” he raps. The former athlete is prepping for an upcoming Brazilian tour and dates in Japan this summer.

57th Dynasty front man WHOISPARADISE releases two brand new Transatlantic Hip-Hop viral videos for 2012 (Please post & get in touch for interviews!)
WHOISPARADISE the 57th Dynasty front man has released two brand new Transatlantic Hip-Hop Virals for 2012. THE MULTIPRENEUR returns with a new energy, a new wave of talent, a new focus and a new vibe which is already getting taste-makers both sides of the pond talking!
The British born/ NYC raised Hustler, Rapper, Poet, Actor, Novelist and Community Activist began his music career literally on the streets of South London after 18 years as a Tri-state resident, the last three of which were spent in the custody of NY’s County, City, State and Federal Institutions. His departure from the US transplanted him from The Bronx, NY housing projects to the council estates of Brixton, UK. A rich translation of not only accents, but of culture, mind state and inner city customs… An Immigrant’s Tale.
Whoisparadise’s career highlights include a MOBO Nomination, Winner of Best UK Hip-Hop Act TWICE with the critically acclaimed 57th Dynasty albums “Spoken Word” and “Boro 6 Vol.2″, 1st indie produced mainstream UK Hiphop Video, Love of Hiphop; Guy Ritchie’s Mean Machine OST, C.E.O of Edutainment venture TGSMP featuring KRS-One & Skinnyman, the lead part in Glyndebourne’s critically acclaimed Hip-h’opera, School 4 Lovers; VH1′s Music First Special; winner 2010-11 Our Heroes Community Campaigner Award, to present – Charity Director, Young People Matter; workshop facilitator of One Spirit at HMP Feltham Young Offenders Institute, all the whilst creatively advising a new wave of talented UK artists including Amplify Dot, Coldsteps and video vixen Noni Zondi.
WHOISPARADISE [formerly Paradise The Prolific] is an Ambassador for the Youts. The Int’l Multipreneur uses his own troubled past as the prequel for balancing art with purpose. A past which places him in a unique position of earned street credibility when championing a lesser kudos’ sociopolitical subject matter. After exile from the USA, his prison poetry was set to the musical landscapes crafted by Brixton producer, Charlie “Baptist” Parker. Since his return from hiatus, Whoisparadise has featured on the MOBO nominated Afro-beats hit ‘We Are Africans (Remix)’ and most recently, ‘United We Stand’ featuring Magnum and video vixen Noni Zondi.
2012 KICKED-OFF with a truly personal show stopping live performance “Artist Salute” on FWD360.com‘s Wreck Sessions original series, marking his official return. A soulful, guitar ridden acoustic reunion with long time collaborator/producer, Charlie Parker [Baptist C Parker] delighted the intimate industry audience with their rendition of the soon to be released “Two4Se7en 3Six5″ – feat MCD. With talks of further collaborations to include Lowkey, Logic & The People’s Army, neo-soul singer Omar, PDC, Babz (Squeeze4P$), Akala, Genesis Elijah, and more; FWD360.com‘s Wreck Sessions is Whoisparadise’s 2012 catalyst for revolutionary global Hip-Hop. Look for Whoisparadise as Academy principle for Roundtable Films’ Nairobi Rise UP series.

In the next month or so I’m gonna drop a FREE EP entitled ‘What Type Of Drug Is MYSTROGEN?’ as a consultation before the full course of ‘MYSTROGEN‘ is prescribed 2 u Mutha Luvaz next year feb/march.. I was hoping 2 drop the album this year but a few jugglinz beyond my control made it impossible 2 do without a decent push.
So 4 all the loyal Mutha Luvaz who’ve been showing NUFF love I figured this is probably the best way 4 me 2 say THANK YOU ALL 4 keeping a spitta motivated with all the comments & support, it means more than u could imagine.. believe that! Apologies 4 the wait & your patience is HIGHLY appreciated. I’ll keep u posted on the exact date so whether Twitfam or FacebookFam just keep an EYE out 4 the announcement on that. This track here’s gonna be featured on the consultation alongside four others & is something I originally demo’d over a Harry Love beat but the final version was recorded over a rendition by a Latin/Funk band i was also blessed 2 work with named Son Veneno. It’s a groove with that drunk funk feel that has u drawing 4 the LynxFace… More funk than an Orangutan’s armpit.. click the pic & enjoy….the LEAK. COME WE GO!

IMMORTAL LYRICS
Life, Living, Yeah, What is it
What is it to be Immortal
We live on, show love, life, Yo, life, Yo
Camouflage through the city lights
I paint pictures, faint description
Fascinated with crime abusing weed and liquor
Searching for the answers uncle Fidel died of cancer
The fall and rise of all people God is your only answer
A little laughter for the good times and bad times
A day of sunshine sharper than your deepest design
Steep with the mind, keeper of rhymes, my soul reclines
I build a gold mine to see my fam grow in time
I feel pain and pieces die
My life don’t work unless I try
Cold it burns if I had wings
Would have taught myself to fly
Held this world in both my arms
Climbed inside the light went dark
There I’ve waited for my turn
I’m still here I never learn
All I have is memories
Hold that thought I’m on my knees
Need tomorrow yes today
The Immortal price I pay
Life, Livin, Surviving
I don’t know if life’s worth dying for
Give me a reason
Give me a reason
I don’t feel like I’ve been here before
I’m still believing
I’m still believing
I’ve got the W on my back
And I’m swimming nine thousand miles back home
My whole hood happy I’m back home
I’m the back bone, black stone,
Greatest story never told
I came to the wilderness of North America alone
Stomping like a giant in my corn and mash potato Tims.
Containing more ____ iron than vitamins
I’m grindin putting it in, from the bottom up
And I don’t rock watches and bracelets
Cause they remind me of handcuffs
There’s a playback in my head
Not right now I hear it when
It’s so quiet I hear my heart
Then the whole thing starts again
I feel pain and pieces die
My life don’t work unless I try
This cold it burns if I had wings
I should have taught myself to fly
To fly
We live on, show love,
Hot off da press… Fdot1 “So Grimey” EP Official Video:
Official Video:
Watch the Fdot1 So Grimey Video here
Release date: 21st March 2011 Label: fM Inc. (independent) Style: Grime, Hip Hop, R&B and Bashment “So Grimey” is available for pre-order on iTuneshttp://itunes.apple.com/gb/preorder/so-grimey/id426327883
Born in Barbados and raised in NY, Toronto, Manchester (UK) and Harare (Zimbabwe) Fdot1 (or Flo as he is known to most) brings a melting pot of international experiences to his music.
Now based in London, Fdot1’s style is influenced both musically and lyrically by his global upbringing. You will hear a mix of American, West Indian and UK accents in his flows and a fusion of Jamaican bashment, Bajan calypso and Zimbabwean rhumba on top of a foundation which is firmly rooted in Hip Hop. Fdot1’s style is truly unique.
Since returning to the UK Fdot1 has been the catalyst behind a number of the UK and Jamaica’s most prominent artists. Fdot1 has produced tracks for Tony Rebel, Queen Ifrica, Sizzla, Fredi Kruga, Asher D (So Solid), Malarchi, Giggs and produced over 40 tracks for Durrty Goodz.
Fdot1 now comes out of the studio and into the spotlight with the release of his EP “So Grimey”. The EP features 4 tracks all of varying musical ‘flavas’, displaying his versatility as an rapper, lyricist, singer, songwriter and producer. “So Grimey” is Grime/UK Hip Hop, “Put it On Ya” a more soulful R&B feel, “Gal Ah Bawl” Bashment, and “Fyaah..!!!” is a throwback to the traditional boom bap days of Hip Hop.
Fdot1 has appeared on Ras Kwame’s 1Xtra show, winning his Home Grown talent competition and been a regular on DJ 279′s Friday Night Flava on Choice FM. Fdot1 has performed with Ms Dynamite, Hip Hop icons De La Soul, Immortal Technique, Omarion, Lil Wayne and Malarchi.
Fdot1 was previously known as Floriginul and you can find his first studio album “Part of Me” on iTunes.Fdot1’s next studio album “Money MusicK”, a fusion of Hip Hop, Grime, Bashment and soulful R&B, is out 4th May 2011. “..this album came about out of frustration with the current state of the industry. Being in the studio and being given so many demos that all sounded the same, no depth, whether it be a singer or a rapper, in my opinion, it was the same song just by a different person. The lyrical content either glorified violence, cash, cars and jewellery or sang about broken hearts like there is nothing else to talk about. I just stopped listening to music.
Instead of complaining about it I decided to challenge myself creatively to show there are still artists out there who are creative and not just a machine marching to a major label’s drum. Money MusicK is an album full of good music and good vibes proving that you can make money without selling your soul..”
